Have a real conversation with your machine.
Standard PLC Monitor answers quick questions about the fault in front of you. The Long Conversations upgrade adds a larger AI model on a more powerful computer in your plant, so you can talk through weeks of history, ask follow-ups and work out a plan together.
One question turns into a plan
A plant manager asks why Line 3 is slow on Monday mornings, then keeps going.
Simulated demo. Example machine and data.
Line 3, first-hour cycle time, secondsMondays slow
What it read to answer
- 6 weeks of Line 3 cycle data
- Shift schedule and start-up times
- Glue pot temperature tag
- Fault history and 3 voice notes from maintenance
- Line 3 PLC program, GluePot routine
PLC Monitor, Long ConversationsQuestion 1, remembers all 1
What the demo shows: a plant manager asks why Line 3 is slow every Monday morning. The monitor looks across six weeks of cycle data and finds the first hour on Mondays runs about 14% slower because the glue pot takes 38 minutes to heat up after the weekend. A follow-up shows second shift is not affected. It recalls a maintenance voice note from March about the heater relay, suggests a pre-heat timer and a heater band check without changing the PLC, and writes a summary for the maintenance meeting.
From quick answers to a working conversation
The standard monitor tells you what just happened. The upgrade helps you work out why it keeps happening.
Follows up like a person
It remembers everything asked earlier in the conversation. Ask "what about second shift?" and it knows you still mean the Monday slowdown on Line 3.
Reads weeks, not minutes
It looks across weeks of tag history, faults and shift changes to find the pattern behind a problem that keeps coming back.
Brings back what your team said
Voice notes and fixes your techs left on past faults come into the answer, so last spring's lesson isn't lost.
Reasons through the program
It can follow your PLC routines to explain how one condition holds up another, and point at the rung where a change would go.
Writes it up
Turn a conversation into a meeting summary, a work order note or a shift handoff in one request.
Still read-only, still on site
It suggests changes. Your people make them. The larger model runs on the computer in your plant, not in someone else's cloud.
Pick the conversation you need
The upgrade works with Local, Connected and Cellular. Your level only changes how alerts reach your people and how we watch the box’s own health. Machine data and conversations stay in your plant.

Ask about the upgradeReady for the next model
AI models get better every few months. PLC Monitor is designed so the model and the computer can be upgraded without starting over.
Your baselines, fault history and voice notes carry forward. Start on the standard box and move up to Long Conversations when your team is ready.
Start standard, upgrade later
Most plants start with the standard monitor on one line. When the questions get bigger, we swap in the larger computer and keep everything it has learned.
Same promise on every model
Read-only to the PLC, no matter which model runs on the box. Your machine data and conversations never leave your plant.
Common questions
Is this a different product?
No. It is an upgrade to PLC Monitor. Same software and the same read-only connection, with a larger AI model running on a more powerful computer in your plant.
Does more of our data leave the plant?
No. The larger model runs on site. On every level, your machine data and conversations stay in your plant. Connected and Cellular send us only the box’s own health, and Cellular adds simple usage counts, never what was asked.
Can we add it later?
Yes. We swap in the larger computer and carry over your baselines, fault history and voice notes.
Will it change our PLC program?
No. It can suggest a change and show the rung where it would go, but it never writes to the PLC. Your programmer, or ours, makes the change.
What does it cost?
It is priced by quote, based on the computer and how many machines it covers. Ask us when you request a pilot.
