What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to send us through the contact form or the request-for-quote form: your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, project details, and any files you attach.
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include IP addresses and browser information. These are used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
To respond to your inquiry, prepare a quote, and carry out work you engage us for. That is all. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not send marketing email to people who did not ask for it.
Files you upload
Drawings and files submitted through the RFQ form are treated as confidential and used solely to prepare your quote and perform the work. If you require a signed NDA before sending drawings, contact us first and we will handle that.
The Get Started form
On our Get Started page you can talk instead of typing. When you tap the microphone, your browser turns your speech into text using the speech service built into your browser or phone (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari), and only the resulting text is sent to us. If your browser cannot do that, it records audio instead, and the recording is sent to us with the form. We also look at the website and public social media pages you list so we do not ask you for what is already there. What you send through this form, including any recording and photos, is used only to plan and quote your project. We keep it on our own systems, never post any of it without your approval, and delete it on request.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and links bring people to us. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and receives your IP address and browser details; we do not use it for advertising or remarketing. The site also sets one cookie of its own (bp_attr, kept 90 days) that remembers how you first arrived, such as a link from Facebook or a search engine, and adds that to any inquiry or RFQ you send so we know which of our posts or listings is working. You can block or delete these cookies in your browser and every form still works. Our blog also uses Jetpack Stats, a cookie-free page counter from Automattic.
Third parties
Our website and email are hosted by our hosting provider, who has access to data in the ordinary course of providing that service.
Retention
Inquiries and quote requests are kept as long as needed for business and record-keeping purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
